Since 2017, we made it our mission to not only help beauty and personal care brands reduce waste, but to reuse it too. We’re out to prove that the beauty industry can thrive solely using upcycled materials – from ingredients to packaging.
WE INFORM: Raising awareness and growing the demand for upcycled beauty.
WE INSPIRE: Helping brands make more sustainable choices.
WE ENABLE: Making upcycled cosmetic ingredients more accessible with initiatives such as our Upcycled Ingredient Directory and no MOQ policy, allowing customers to order just what they need to further reduce waste within the supply chain.
Our Full Circle portfolio of ingredients are made *entirely* from upcycled plant-based leftovers. These zero waste ingredients offer forward-thinking brands an opportunity to create innovative beauty products that make better use of the precious resources around us, without compromising quality or efficacy. Each high-performance ingredient is made from a by-product of various manufacturing processes including food & drink production and is tested vs industry standards to demonstrate that there is value in waste. Many of our materials are COSMOS approved and Upcycled Certified™ by the Upcycled Food Association (UFA). The UFA is currently the only third-party body which certifies upcycled cosmetic (and food) raw materials. All certified products are procured and produced using verifiable supply chains and must have a positive impact on the environment.
We also offer upcycled solutions to the personal care industry with freely accessible tools such as our annual Zero Waste Beauty Report, Brand Spotlights (which champion the efforts of sustainable beauty brands), fully upcycled formulations via our in-house demonstration brand Chrerishd. and sustainable packaging inspiration.
We work collaboratively across the beauty and personal care industry to reduce the consumption of new resources, identify waste as a valuable resource and support the transition from a linear take-make-dispose economy to a circular one.
We believe, together, we can shape the next generation of sustainable beauty.
