Biography

Marc Pissavini is an internationally recognised expert in sun protection science and evaluation methodologies. He is currently Director of Skin Care Basic Research and Visiting Professor at Montpellier University, with extensive experience in the development, validation and standardisation of sunscreen testing methods at European and international level, notably within ISO, CEN and Cosmetics Europe.

He has authored numerous peer‑reviewed scientific publications on UV exposure, SPF and UVA assessment, in vitro methods and real‑life relevance of sun protection, and regularly contributes as a speaker to major international scientific congresses in cosmetic and photoprotection science.
