Biography

Elisabeth has a wealth of knowledge in Cosmetic Science having studied Cosmetic Science at the London College of Fashion with an industrial placement at Henkel GmbH in Microbiology and Preservation. Elisabeth then progressed her research skills by completing an MRes and PhD in Cosmetic Science at the University of Leeds. Whilst at UoL she gained several years’ experience in the Industry as part of the Keracol Ltd team.

As a Brand Manager at Surfachem, Elisabeth takes on market trends from across multiple disciplines, and pairs it with the latest scientific thinking, both inside and outside Personal Care, to help develop the next generation of insights and NPD for the Personal Care industry. Elisabeth strives to make changes for Sustainability in the Personal Care industry, and to stop misinformation to the consumer.

Elisabeth is very passionate about encouraging education and research in cosmetic and related sciences and currently sits on the Council for the Society of Cosmetic Scientists, UK and is part of the Scientific Committee and Education Committee.
