Biography

Dr. Cheng Li is a founder–operator with more than ten years’ experience at the intersection of imaging, product development and early-stage venture work. He earned his PhD in Colour Science from the University of Leeds and combines a solid research background with practical company building. At ApexChroma, he leads the roadmap for a non-contact appearance-measurement system, taking it from concept to prototype and patent filing while coordinating partners, IP, and day-to-day delivery. Earlier, he worked with and backed early-stage teams in areas such as VR, IoT and AI, helping them secure follow-on funding and refine products. Dr. Li’s steady, hands-on approach and cross-disciplinary grounding make him a reliable lead for turning laboratory ideas into commercial products.
