Biography

Alice Fiorito joined Henkel in 2024 as a PhD researcher in collaboration with the University of Hamburg, where she explores the complex mechanical behaviour of textured hair. Driven by a passion for translating fundamental science into real-world applications, her work aims to deepen the understanding of hair performance and support the development of more inclusive, high-performing care solutions.

Alice holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Groningen and a Master’s degree in Chemistry and Innovation from PSL Université. With an international academic background and a strong interest in material science, she brings fresh perspectives to the evolving field of hair research.
